Level Seven is pleased to announce the launch of a Putting Your Talent to Work™ development programme for Wärtsilä UK Ltd's high potential talent group. Wärtsilä UK Ltd is part of the Wärtsilä Corporation in Finland. In the UK they focus on products and services for the marine and energy markets and services for the shipping and power generation markets. We are also pleased to support Wärtsilä's application to the Royal Academy of Engineering's Professional Development Awards Scheme.

The event was an opportunity to meet HR Directors from UK and global organisations to discuss their talent development challenges on a one to one basis as well as showcase the value that the Putting Your Talent to Work Programme can add to talent development strategies.

Level Seven is holding a Summer Event in London on Friday 1st July 2011. It is an 'invitation' only event extended to Level Seven's Linked-In network. The theme is networking in the real world versus networking in the virtual world.
Level Seven delivers Masterclass on Talent Development at the European HR Directors Summit, January 2011
Level Seven successfully delivered a Masterclass on Talent Development with their client Tata Consultancy Services, part of the Tata Group. We had full attendance with an interesting mix of organisations in the audience. Workshop presentation slides are available, for a copy, please Contact Us.
Our Masterclass prize draw invited a number of organisations to participate in a cross functional programme and we are currently working on the logistics of this project.
In addition to the Masterclass draw, we ran a general prize draw Nominate Your Prize open to all conference attendees and there were two joint winners. Mazars, an international, integrated and independent organisation, specialising in audit, accounting, tax and advisory services. Mazars is not only ranked as the ninth largest UK partnership by audit fee income, but also one of Europe's largest accounting firms with a huge global presence. The other winner was a global marine engineering company.

Meet the Level Seven team on stand 22 at the European HR Directors Summit on 24/25 January 2011 in Birmingham. Level Seven will be co-delivering a masterclass session with Tata Consultancy Services (part of the Tata Group), focusing on what makes a successful talent development programme and gives attendees an opportunity to participate in some creative thinking. Attendees at the masterclass will take part in a prize draw which takes the idea of cross functional working to an innovative level.
In addition, we will be running a general prize draw Nominate Your Prize open to all conference attendees and are taking the unusual step of asking entrants to nominate their prize.
Finally, we are progressing with the second phase of our leadership research which is focussing on innovation. We are at the testing stage of our new Leading Innovation diagnostic, come along to the stand and complete the questionnaire and we will send you a free personalised, feedback report.

Leven Seven wins contract for Putting Your Talent to Work programme with UK Holiday and Leisure Company
Level Seven were successful in bidding for and winning a contract for a development programme for the senior executive team of a UK holiday and leisure company. In the face of strong competition, Level Seven were able to prove that Putting Your Talent to Work provides an alignment of personal development with organisational development and offers an on-going strategy for the business.
Second phase of Leadership Research Project Underway
The partnership between Level Seven and McLaren Solutions continues to build on the findings of Phase One of our leadership research project. We have joined forces with a third partner to look in depth at the role of the leader in facilitating innovation. This was a key finding from the Phase One analysis and one which is attracting increasing attention in leadership research.
